Monday, Monday

So, this is my first Monday unemployed and I got to sleep late. My kids finally rolled my out of bed at 7 a.m. I could have still made it to work on time, (if I had a job).

My husband wanted me to get up at 5 a.m. and exercise. I just wanted to sleep late, because...I can. Anyway I stumbled to the kitchen to make coffee at 7:10, switched the clothes, ignored the dishes and headed to the bedroom.

The bed looked nice and comfy...or the kids looked real nice and comfy in it watching cartoons. So I headed to my closet. Should have been the prayer closet but I will multitask.

So I am finally getting around to putting up my winter clothes and I need to do some organizing so I could actually get into my closet. This is without stepping on all of my shoes that the little princess has worn...then thrown back making a mound in the doorway. At least she returned them. There will be a day when she won't.

I would have taken before pictures to share but I am really embarrassed. I tackled the closet from top to bottom. Next was the laboratory and cabinets. I must mention that I had moved out of this bathroom years ago. Since then my darling husband had been in there and just recently he decided to move out. Good thing cause the dust mites were moving in by the billions.

The closet took a couple of hours but the bathroom took the rest of the day, at least until I had to take a shower and get the kids ready for Karate class.

I must have sweat off about 10 pounds today. My darling husband insisted that the air conditioner should not be set below 78 degrees.

I grabbed my first bite to eat after my shower. Then I thought what about the kids. Then I remember they had made themselves a jelly sandwich. Soggy cereal bowls were still on the table, that on top of 2 yogurts each (I think) and numerous Popsicles. They should live until supper.

So, we get home and I get the famous question. So...what did you do all day? Like no one had a clue what the bathroom and closet looked like every day for the past year. I guess we all completely ignored it.

Praise God, tomorrow is a new day!

I have been *trying* to tackle decluttering/organizational things in my home this summer too. Good job on getting something put in order!
