Why Did We Teach Her To Potty?

Another bathroom issue.

So we took the kids to Chuck E Cheese. All is going well. Little DX is amused by feeding the rides multiple coins. I have to explain to him that one is all it takes. But two fit. Such a boy!

Pretty Pink Princess soon slows down to realize the bathrooms. Now these bathrooms do not contain heavy doors. There is just an opening with a little pathway. Very child friendly. What I can't understand is-- why in a world where mother are usually taking children to the bathroom-- is the Men's bathroom 1st? Children do not read male and female signs. And they sure did not stop PPP from running into the first bathroom opening available and dropping her drawers. So here I am, I have to go into the men's bathroom---way behind her sprint, past the urinals and into the stall where she as already sat her butt down on an unknown toilet seat. Here I am, in the men's bathroom standing at the door while my daughter pottys. In comes an man with his son. I am probably ghostly white right now. As the little boy stops for the urinal but his dad pushes him to a stall. I say "Sorry, she just ran in here". He just looks at me, probable just as embarrassed as I.

I grab PPP off of the toilet, pull her pants up, quickly wash her hands and run out of there. And I breath---Inhale, Exhale. OK its over! Of course PPP has no clue, she is off to play, leaving me standing in the hall in front of the men's bathroom gasping for breath due to the torture she has put me through.

Why did we teach her to potty?
