So Big Daddy gets the children up this morning. Pretty Pink Princess is hot, running a temp. He puts her in the bed with me and gets her some medicine.
I lay with her for a few minutes. I get up and take her to the living room and sit her in the recliner. She hands me the remote and tells me she needs to watch Barney. I submit to her demand. I make her a cool compress and set it on her head and go to take a shower.
I get out of the bathroom and go to check on her. She has cooled. I take the compress off of her head as she motions for me to move out of her view of Barney. How dare I block her view! Anyway, I ask her if she feels better, she shakes her head yes as she make a sickly face. I ask "do you need this on your head still?" She says "No. I'm FIRED UP". I lose composure and retreat to the bathroom.
